Windee Winata is company founder and main photographer of The Photo Factory, a Bali based Photography Company. He has been photographing since 1996 and doing it professionally since 2000. Works almost unnoticed, capturing the emotion and spirit of the day with an extraordinary warmth and candor, his wedding photos are spontaneous, intimate and graceful. He thinks of his picture as window of life that will recall who you are, what you were thinking, what made you laugh, what touched you, and how you felt. He is a master at capturing fleeting expression and gestures.
Windee’s background in photojournalism has taught him to find the telling images in a scene without arranging or changing it. His aim is to remind you of the event, the people, the surroundings and the emotions on your special day. He shot weddings for his siblings and friends long before taking it up professionally. His works have been exhibited numerous times in Germany.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a master degree in Automotive Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, he joined the Mercedes-Benz development team at the Mercedes-Benz R&D headquarter in Sindelfingen, Germany, and became an expert in the field of passenger car passive safety. After resided in Germany for 11 years, his love for Bali and passion for photography brought him back to his hometown.
Now lives in Bali, Windee is available for international travel for destination wedding. He is an active member of the Prestigious WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) and the first and up till now the only Indonesian photographer qualified to enter The Artistic Guild, a division within the WPJA which specifically promotes Fine Art Wedding Photojournalism.
